Hi guys,

I (sort of) figured out a decent solution!

There's an add-on for FireFox called 'iGoogle Tab remover'

It basically - "Hides the iGoogle left navigation tabs and header, so you can have more room to browse"

You can get it here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10113

If you're anything like me, you'll get it NOW! :)

After I installed it, I let out a big sigh of relief.

None of the usual tricks seem to work now. Seems google has caught up with all the hacks, tricks and tweaks. Even some of the other igoogle sites, like google.ca, google.ie, etc are now switched. Thanks google, for ramming this down our throats with no options to revert back.

I prefer http://www.toadtastic.com. It looks like Google but you get a random funny pic every time you refresh the page. It’s great. (sorry I finally got the link thing right, didn't mean to spam your page.)
