Dear Twitter, please give us back our followers! Thanks!

Apparently Twitter has been having some issues within the last 24 hours with their following and followers features for new accounts. Last night, the number of people I’m following at @DailyBlunder dropped to zero and was latter restored, but now Twitter has taken all of my followers! After doing some research I realized I’m not the only one suffering from this bug. Twitter is aware of the issue, but some people are hurt, depressed, and pissed off.
