I recently registered for the AIR conference in Washington, DC and I’m really stoked to hear Christian Cantrell, Mike Chambers, and Kevin Hoyt talk about the highly anticipated release of Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) and its capabilities. It’s perfect timing for Adobe to launch this campaign, considering the hyped launch of Pownce, which has a really nice AIR application download.
A few days ago I downloaded the AIR SDK and have been working on my first application (nothing sexy). I was really amazed at how easy it was to get it up and running. I also really like the Dreamweaver CS3 AIR extention for packaging the .air application. This is really cool technology and I’m sure we will see some innovative AIR applications popping up in the coming year. More…
